What Gemini recommends.

by Google · tracked weekly · agrees with consensus in 13 of 22 categoriesPreview data

Gemini is Google’s AI assistant, wired into Search, Android, and Workspace. Its recommendations sit closest to the search traffic brands already compete for — when Gemini names a brand, that answer often replaces a page of blue links.

How we query it

Gemini receives the same weekly recommendation questions as the other three models. We record the full response and score every named brand by position and prominence, 0–100.

How its column behaves

Gemini leans on fresh web results, so its lists move more week to week than the other models — recent coverage and reviews show up in its picks faster.

Where it breaks from the pack.

In 9 of 22 categories this week, Gemini crowns a different #1 than the cross-model consensus — Asana over Linear in project management tools; ConvertKit over Mailchimp in email marketing platforms; Squarespace over Webflow in website builders, among others. Disagreement like this is the spread signal: different models read different sources, and the gap is where AI visibility is won.

During the preview period, the rankings shown are simulated sample data while our measurement pipeline comes online. The format, scoring, and methodology are final — the numbers become live once the crawl begins.
